Yes. Visible-area and full-page capture, all twelve browser-chrome frames, crop, backgrounds, and PNG export are free forever. Pro adds the editor extras — more formats, annotations, autosave, and the library — for $3/year.
How does the 30-day trial work?
The trial starts when you subscribe, not when you install. Checkout takes your card and charges nothing for 30 days — cancel any time before day 31 and you are never billed. The free tier needs no account and no card at all, and keeps working forever whether you trial Pro or not.
Do my screenshots ever leave my device?
No. Captures are composed, edited, and saved entirely on your machine. The only network request the extension ever makes is validating a Pro license key — no page content, no URLs, no browsing data.
How is this different from other full-page screenshot tools?
CaptureWizard adds OS-matched browser-chrome framing, redaction, autosave, and a local library on top of full-page capture — and it requests no host permissions, so it cannot see any page until the moment you trigger a capture.
Which pages can’t be captured?
Browser-internal pages (chrome://) and the Chrome Web Store are off-limits to every extension for security reasons. Regular http:// and https:// pages all work.
How do I activate my Pro license?
After purchasing you’ll receive a license key by email. Open CaptureWizard’s settings, paste the key, and click Activate — Pro unlocks instantly on that device.
